W.T.E. studied a new cooling system at the interface between lower and upper  grates for the waste to energy plant owned by META Spa.

During the ordinary running of the furnaces the Client observed the recurrently build up of molten slag on the steps  and wanted to solve that inconvenient in order to allow the complete combustion of waste and the efficiency of machinery.

W.T.E. purposed three different solutions for colling of grates.
