A feasibility study was carried out to evaluate, both form economic and technical point of view the possibility to dry organic and industrial slurry to feed the 51.7 MWth coal boiler as an alternative to coal.

The study included:
- boiler behaviour in case of dry slurry feeding
- Identify the BAT (Best Available Technology) to dry slurry
- Carry out preliminary balances, dimensioning and layout studies.
