After the start-up of the MSW incineration plant in Vercelli and some years of running, , the plant management needed an additional support to optimize the combustion control system, previously delivered by W.T.E., due to the increased variability of the urban waste composition and higher heating value, caused by the spot presence of hazardous waste. Operators required for solutions to avoid furnaces damages and to prevent exceeding pollutant emission limits in case of waste composition fast changing.
With further information on waste compositions W.T.E. elaborated and successfully implemented additional schemes and procedures in order to comply with Customer requests.
The plant was owned by Vercelli Energia and managed by Veolia.
