WTE was appointed by MATEC to verify the equipment status of medical waste incineration plant after a destructive explosion occurred during first start up.
The plant was located in Paderno Dugnano. Major damages on boiler and gas cleaning system were recorded.
After the analysis WTE was designated to deliver the general project of the revamping and to carry out the engineering of: new concept HRSG (Heat Recovery Steam Generator) tile end type, thermal cycle, gas cleaning system, regulation system following new control logics.
Assistance for start-up was also delivered.
