ECOSESTO Spa asked to W.T.E. to conduct an audit on energetic performance of the biomass to energy plant (16.5 MWe) operating in Rende(Calabria) in order to improve the energy efficiency of the plant.
W.T.E.’ aim was to achieve the optimisation of combustion process through increased flexibility; the final aim was to allow the combustion of biomass with low heating value content.
