W.T.E. obtained the contract for a major revamping of the MSW incineration facility owned by AEM Gestioni Srl, now a partner of A2A. The object of the tender was design, supply, install and start-up of:
- high Dust SCR DeNOx unit, installed downstream of an existing SNCR system
- insertion of a second boiler downstream first, in order to control rough gas temperature,
- replacement of semidry lime absorber system with dry sodium bicarbonate, including mills and dosing system,
- insertion of a gas-water economizer connected to the district heating network in order to optimize energy efficiency.
